Game of the Month

It's GAME OF THE MONTH time!

Each month, at a random time, I will post my personal favorite, most-played game.

This months GAME OF THE MONTH is...

*Drumroll*

... Well there's two of them because I'm undecided on just one.

BATTLEFIELD: BAD COMPANY 2

I've been playing this game since the day I bought it and have been milking it since day one. Only recently have I begun unlocking the beastly weapons such as the G3 and M4. This game still excites me even though I mostly play on the same map and same gamemode every time I play. This will probably remain one of my favorite games for the months to come. DICE really have defined online warfare.

GOD OF WAR 3

See my short review for this game on this blog. It is amazing in every way, story, graphics, gore, music and gameplay.

Onslaught

DICE has recently announced a new game mode on it's way to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 titled: "Onslaught".

The Co-Op game mode will pitch you, as well as 3 other friends against an onslaught of enemy AI on several different multiplayer maps including Valparaiso, Atacama Desert, Isla Inocentes and Nelson Bay, which have been redisgned with "new lighting, time of day, added vehicles and other effects."

See the trailer here.

I have to say, I'm really fucking hyped. I love you DICE :P

God of War 3 is Godly - Very Short Review

What can I say?

Voilence? Fuck yeah. Over the top action. Fuck yeah. Mind-boggling puzzles. Fuck yeah. Boobies. FUCK YEAH!

After falling in love with Mortal Kombat: Shoulin Monks back in 2005, I have struggled to find a better or at least similiar game since - Enter: God of War 3.

If you love voilence, boobies, puzzles and monsters get this game. It is as simple as that.

Story: 7/10. It's alright, but nothing original. It'll keep you going.
Graphics: 10/10. This game is true eye-candy, let it be said.
Gore: 10/10. It can't get any gorier than this. Shred at the intestines out of your foes, decapitate them, tear their eyeballs from their sockets.
Gameplay: 9/10. Some of the buttons can be a little unresponsive at times, but other than that, the gameplay is more than amazing. The difficulties (Spartan, God, Titan, Chaos) are very true to form, with Spartan being quite easy and Chaos being near-impossible.

If you have a PlayStation 3, this game is a must havefor your collection. Prior to this game, I considered Uncharted 2: Among Thieves the PlayStation 3's leading exclusive, but now I can easily state that I prefer God of War 3 over Uncharted 2.

Call of Duty 7: Black Ops First Impressions

First thoughts...

Vietnam - Meh. Coldwar - Meh. CoD7 - Meh.

You've probably noticed I'm not too hyped right now. I doubt I will ever be after the shocking pile of shit Modern Warfare 2 was. Give me British SAS, Middle Eastern setting, Infinity Ward (or not, after what they did with Modern Warfare 2), present day and I will be more than hyped.

I thought the term 'Black Ops' entailed special operations... i.e. special forces operations deep behind enemy lines. i.e. SAS operations deep behind enemy lines. Instead, from what I've seen in the trailers, a Black Op is an operation deemed classified by the government, such as the development of SR-71 Blackbird aircraft.

Well anyway, I guess it would be wrong to judge a game which I know barely anything about, so until I see some more trailers and previews, I'll keep my trap shut.

Welcome to the MAHPS3 Blog

Well eventually I started using the Google Sites website as a blog, so I thought it'd be more suited to use blogspot for my "everything else" pages. So here it is, nothing special, just yet.
